About Danny Vera

Danny Inspired by Roy Orbison, Bruce Springsteen, Chris Isaak and Lucinda Williams, Danny bought his first guitar in New Orleans 16 years ago; a Gretch hollow body. This all-American guitar would help him come as close as possible to the sound of his hero's. In 2009 Danny crossed the ocean once again, to record his fourth studio album with local musical artists. The result: a very un-Dutch and mature production, that not only represents Danny's musical ambitions and songwriting capabilities, but also shows he knows how to present his music.

About 'Pink Flamingo'

Pink Flamingo is the title of the fourth album. The dutch singer/songwriter travelled all the way to Hilltop Studios in Nashville Tennessee in april 2009, to work with renown session musicians on a sound we all know from big American productions. The process is documented on a DVD that's added to the album.
